About Eric Almanza
Eric Almanza is a real estate agent that serves Long Beach with a unique background that provides an eye for detail and a passion for the dream of home ownership. Eric was born in Southern California and raised in the coastal town of Rancho Palos Verdes. After graduating from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, he attended UC Berkeley and earned his bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Education. Soon after graduating from Berkeley, Eric decided to enter the field of education and attended Cal State Dominguez Hills, earning a secondary teacher’s credential in Mathematics and Fine Arts. His first teaching assignment was at Banning High School in Wilmington, where he taught Math and Art for 7 years before deciding to pursue his Master of Fine Arts degree at Laguna College of Art Design in 2010. When he’s not selling real estate, Eric continues to teach art at the Harts Academy of Los Angeles. The skills he learned working in the classroom give him the experience required to handle complex situations with patience and excellent communication skills. His technical training in art provides clients with an important aesthetic prospective.
Eric and his wife bought their first home in downtown Long Beach in 2004. What attracted them to Long Beach was its robust culture and diversity. Long Beach has something for everyone and as time has passed and Eric’s family needs have changed, Long Beach has remained a constant. Whether it was his first condo in Downtown Long Beach to experience the night life of Pine Ave or his first house in a gated community near Signal Hill to start a family, Long beach has provided a home to suit his family’s needs. Currently, Eric and his family live in the East End neighborhood South of Conant and enjoy a 3-bedroom house with a pool. In his free time, Eric is actively involved in youth sports leagues volunteering and coaching with AYSO 177, Los Alamitos Friday Night Lights, Long Beach Little League and Heartwell Fastpitch Softball.
Eric entered the Real Estate world to be his own boss and share his love of home remodeling and make-overs with his clients. He also wants to help young people experience the value and benefit of homeownership. Teaching in at-risk, underserved neighborhoods for over 20 years, Eric has come to realize that many of these same neighborhoods are also underserved in the real estate market. Eric champions the goal of getting more people of color into homeownership. Whether you are a first-time buyer, buying for your growing family, or investing for retirement; Eric’s mission is to provide you with the highest level of professionalism, knowledge, and quality service. Getting to know his clients is paramount. Eric is dedicated to delivering highly personalized service to each client and handling every detail of your transaction seamlessly from beginning to end. Although the journey of buying or selling a home can be stressful, Eric is dedicated to helping clients feel supported and comfortable, with the goal of enjoying the process and loving their new home.
