Artist Call- The Human Form

Art Clout Collective is pleased to announce its latest exhibition curated by Long Beach Artist Eric Almanza at Metropolitan Design with the theme The Human Form. Perhaps natures greatest form, for thousands of years artists have painted the human body. How do you see the human form? This exhibition seeks work that questions the normal constructs of traditional portraiture and figure painting. How does the human form fit within the context of modern art? What part do you play in the history of art and the history of Figure painting? Metropolitan Design is an upscale boutique furniture business offering ample wall space for our exhibition. We are looking to exhibit 30-40 artists in 2D and 3D mediums. Artists must be 21 years or older. The deadline to submit artwork is Wednesday, June 4th, 2025. The size restrictions on submitted work is no bigger than 60 inches in either direction. 3D work must be under 40 lbs. in weight.

There will be an opening reception on Thursday, June 26th, 2025 and the exhibition will run through August 3rd, 2025. Drop-off of artwork will be June 9th-12th. There is no entry fee to submit. Metropolitan Design will handle the sale of all artwork and keep 25% for letting us use their space. If interested, please send up to 5 images to Eric- [email protected].  For each artwork submitted, identify Artist’s Name, artwork title, date, medium, dimensions, and price.  Rename your photo files to include the Artist’s Last Name and title. For example, Almanza_2 Fridas.jpeg.  All accepted work MUST BE FRAMED and ready to hang with a wire of D-rings. Feel free to share the flyer with fellow artists.
